A nonprofit-profit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and presenting the history of the Grand Traverse region. The 15,000-square-foot center is home to the Museum of History and offices for five partners: Maritime Heritage Alliance, Grand Traverse Pioneer & Historical Society, Railroad Historical Society of Northwest Michigan, Grand Traverse Rock & Mineral Club, and the Women's History Project of Northwest Michigan. Center hours: 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday, (Jan.-June); Tuesday-Saturday (July-December).
